Who do you send after a being with no moral restraints?

She was glad she wasn't the only one who felt it.

"Okay, everyone, get ready. This fight won't be as easy as the others."

Eredwal assumed a battle stance, his hammer held high. Maka took out the wand of flames she had used on the skeletons. In her other hand was her glowing moonstone. Akam had the club he obtained earlier in his hands. Kassus, his sword held in front of him, stayed close to Sister Sabine, who felt her hands get sweaty. She wiped them off on her cassock before closing her fingers around the Morning Star's handle once again.

Eredwal looked at each party member, one at a time. He then waited for a couple of heartbeats before he said, "Here we go!" He pushed his side of the double door while Akam pushed the other. The heavy wood slid along the floor, the resulting sound loud and grating. Everyone rushed into the room, careful not to step on the shimmering tile that Maka had marked. Eredwal and Akam stood, side-by-side, at the front of the group. Maka was behind them, her stone held high. Sister Sabine and Kassus were at the rear.

The chamber they entered was spacious, and it would have been completely dark if not for two, tall torches that blazed on either side of a dais several yards ahead of them. On the center of the dais was a throne made of animal bones and covered in hide. The throne was not empty.

"At last, you've come!" shouted the figure seated on the throne. It was another hobgoblin, although this one wasn't dressed in chain mail or splint armor like the ones the party had killed on the way here. Instead, this one was dressed in long, purple and brown rags it wore like robes. On each of its shoulders was a bleached wolf skull, and atop its skull was a headdress that sported the horns of an elk. In its clawed hand was a staff that looked as though it was made from the branch of a tree perverted by dark magic. Gnarled wood at the end of the staff clutched at an emerald like fingers, holding it in place. A sickly, green light emanated from the gem.

"I am Rehr'mab, necromancer and lord of the Fallen Fort of Falo Forest!" The hobgoblin rose from his throne of hide and bone and pointed at them with his staff. Rows of sharp, brown teeth peeked out between his lips as he spoke. Even though she was yards away from him, Sister Sabine imagined how foul his breath must have stunk.

"You foolish adventurers may have been able to vanquish my underlings, but your victories - and your very lives - end here! I will have your souls! I will use your very essences to augment my own power! I wi..."

"Hey, shut up for a second, would you?!" Eredwal called out.

The hobgoblin flinched as though he had just been slapped. "...I beg your pardon?"

"I said, 'shut up!' I need to talk to my people."

The necromancer stood on the dais, a look of utter confusion on his face. He was speechless.

Eredwal turned to the rest of the party. "We're in luck, folks! I've never seen this guy before, which means he's got to be a rare boss." His gaze landed on Sabine. "You must be our lucky charm, Sister."

"A rare boss? Wow!" Akam tossed his club aside then drew his blade. "That means its loot will be better than usual, right?"

"That's right," Maka confirmed. "It also means it'll be tougher than a normal boss."

"Yeah, but that's okay." Eredwal gestured for Kassus to approach. "K-Town! Get up here. We're going to do what we've been doing this whole time: Kassus tanks. Maka and Akam, you two give Big K enough time to piss this guy off before you attack. I'll keep an eye on our healer. Sabine, stay back, for now, but rush in if you see someone get hurt.

"Everyone got it?" The others nodded. Looking at their faces, Sabine could tell that everyone was eager to do their part.

"Are you done?" the necromancer asked.

"Yeah, we're done." Eredwal switched places with Kassus - the guard took the lead while the Goblinsbane stood beside the priestess. The Bashaans stood in the middle of the pack.

"As I was saying.
